Day #365: Re-start

I know I know, it’s been a while, I was on hiatus for some months, dealing with some work stuff and also enjoying some priceless family time. 😎 During having this newsletter on hold I just have been missing writing this so much! So we’re back (soon) ✍

It’s that time of the year again when we look back at everything we’ve done in the past year.

So… what has happened in the last 365 days?

With two dozen articles published on the BeyondVictories-blog, I got almost half of the amount I've expected at the start of this project. After six great enthusiastic months, the global situation effected also our business and I had to prioritize other ongoing projects more than writing.

I'm feeling happy going back and forward in the archive to narrow the list of articles down to these few highlights that I will be sharing with you guys today!

Here are three top stories of 2021 to bring us #BeyondVictories…

Day #171: A dozen tips
Here are a dozen of my favorite tips to go #BeyondVictories in our daily media work.
Day #129: Pandemic Translations
The pandemic is omnipresent. If it wouldn’t be about our health, for sure we would call it a communication hype. But why is the message so strong? I’ve tried to translate two key elements into sports marketing language.
Day #122: Seriously, this is making my stomach hurt.
The telephone is still the best friend of any sports journalist. Discover proven strategies to stop the shocking reality of phone interviews.

I am so grateful for everything that has happened in 2021, and I look forward to the next one.

Even if this project has to stay on hold for another couple of weeks, we have already useful topics in our pipeline. Soon you will read what makes professional athletes similar or not similar to music artists.

Stay tuned and don’t forget to do your own yearly reflection too :)

Cheers,
